Venerable Gregory the Byzantine
Venerable
Saint Gregory was born in Constantinople and lived during the 14th century. He embraced an ascetic life at the Great Lavra of Saint Athanasius in Mount Athos, where he became renowned for his virtue and spiritual grace. He is also remembered as the spiritual teacher of Saint Gregory Palamas.
His feast is celebrated on the 6th of April.
