Saint Martyr Theodulia lived in the city of Anazarvus during the times of the Roman emperors Diocletian and Maximin. She was captured by the cruel ruler Pelagius, who tried to force her to worship idols. Theodulia, refusing to renounce Christ, was subjected to torture, but she felt no pain thanks to the help of the Lord. She destroyed the idol of Adrian, which caused horror in Pelagius, who, despite his promise to become a Christian, continued to torment her.
To Theodulia approached Elladius, who also tried to force her to worship idols. However, after her prayer, he believed in Christ and accepted a martyr's death. Theodulia was thrown into a fiery furnace but remained unharmed. After this, the pagans continued to persecute Christians, and Theodulia, along with Macarius and Evagrius, accepted a martyr's end, passing to eternal life with prayer on their lips.
