Bishop
Saint Boniface was born in the Tuscan region of Italy. From childhood, he showed love for the poor, giving away his clothes and even bread, which displeased his mother. One day, when she found the granary empty, Boniface, praying to God, miraculously received a full granary. His mother, seeing this, stopped forbidding him to help the needy.
As a bishop in the city of Ferentino, he faced poverty but always thanked God for his hardships. One day, after a strong hailstorm, he saw the damaged vines and continued to pray and bless the remaining clusters of grapes. When the time for harvest came, he miraculously filled the vessels with wine that did not run out, even when the poor came for help.
The saint also showed strictness towards the wicked. One day, hearing the sounds of a jester, he predicted his death, which indeed happened. On another occasion, when his grandson Constantius lost money, Boniface, praying, miraculously received it back to return to his grandson.
Two Goths, taken into his home, received wine that did not run out during their journey. The saint also expelled caterpillars from his vineyard, invoking the name of the Lord. His life is full of miracles and manifestations of faith, confirming his holiness and piety.
