Saint Paul (Favoritov) was born in 1883 in the village of Osenevo, Uglich district, Yaroslavl region. He served as a priest in the village of Konstantinovo, Tver region, and lived in the city of Kalazin.

On December 21, 1937, Father Paul was arrested, and on December 27, he was sentenced by the troika of the NKVD of the Kalinin region on charges of 'counter-revolutionary agitation' and was sentenced to the highest measure of punishment. Priest Paul Favoritov was shot on December 29, 1937.
