Holy Martyr Evgraf was born on December 6, 1868, into the family of a priest. In 1890, he graduated from the Perm Theological Seminary and was ordained as a priest. He served in the Krasnoufimsk district and was a legal educator in schools. In 1900, he became a protopresbyter and the dean of the Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church in the city of Cherdyn. In 1918, he was arrested by the military leader and sentenced for counter-revolutionary agitation. On December 23, 1918, he was shot in Perm along with his son Mikhail.
