Martyrs
Saint Aristarchus was a bishop in the Syrian city of Apamea and is mentioned in the book of Acts of the Apostles and in the letters of Saint Apostle Paul.
Saint Pud, a member of the Roman Senate, received the holy apostles Peter and Paul in his home, which became the church "Pastoral."
Saint Trophimus, along with Aristarchus and Pud, suffered with the Apostle Paul during persecutions.
All three apostles died in Rome, being beheaded by the order of Emperor Nero around the year 65.
