Gazing at this cross I experience the presence of Christ in an overwhelmingly powerful way. I frequently kiss the cross and by God's grace - and perhaps the prayers of the monk who carved it - find myself irresistibly drawn to the prayer throughout the day. Yesterday's cruise was the best thing to happen in my while life. I really thank god and Athos guide for this blessing. I was very lucky to unexpectedly meet the monks on boards with the relics they brought. Also, I loved how much friendly and helpful was this team, following up on everything all the time. I am very pleased with the entire transaction, the timeliness of delivery, the quality of the products (box of 30 candles, plus a gift box with small icon of the Theotokos spreading out her Cincture, with a small vial of ‘myrrh’, and small prayer rope), and the inclusion of a gift: a ribbon blessed by contact with the Relic of the Cincture of the Theotokos, treasured at Vatopedi. The packaging is tasteful and understated, perfectly appropriate for items, gifts and keepsakes from the Holy Mountain.
