A great experience! Seeing the holy relics and miracle icons was fantastic. Roman, our guide, was great as well. I would recommend for any orthodox Christian, so much history about the religion is housed here. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to go!

Walking along the ancient paths of monks and saints, amidst the thousand-year-old monasteries of the Holy Mountain Athos, is a profoundly spiritual experience for every Christian. Experiencing the warm hospitality of Orthodox monks who, in the silence of their cells, with the Jesus Prayer on their lips and a deep devotion to God, venerate the icons of saints and sing the powerful psalms, touches the soul of every pilgrim. The journey to the majestic summit is challenging, but the breathtaking view of the peninsula’s spiritual aura rewards the pilgrim with boundless peace. I have had a one day tour, which gave me a fantastic possibility to visit several holy sites and monasteries within one day, what normally takes a way longer time.

One day tour is highly recommended for those who can not organize the visit themselves, because of high number of visiting pilgrims in certain periods or other reasons.

We only have words of thanks and appreciation for the team behind Athos Guide. They have curated an amazing tour and trip for us, in which we saw a number of different monasteries and sites including Panteleimon, Vatoped, Hilandar and Karyes. On the ground we had Roman as our guide, who is extremely knowledgeable and shared many interesting insights into the history of each site, holy relics and important individuals who contributed to the location. Yesterday's cruise was the best thing to happen in my while life. I really thank god and Athos guide for this blessing.
