Presbyter
The clergyman was born on June 27, 1879, in the village of Vyatskoye, Yaroslavl province, in the family of a church servant. He graduated from a rural school, served as a psalmist, and was later ordained as a priest. In 1932, he served in the church in the village of Voskresenskoye. He was arrested and sentenced to 3 years of exile for concealing church valuables. After his return, he served in the church in the village of Krutovo. On October 29, 1937, he was arrested again, accused of organizing a group of believers and anti-Soviet agitation. The priest did not plead guilty. On November 5, 1937, he was sentenced to 10 years in a labor camp. He served his sentence in the Temnikov labor camp in Mordovia, where he died on October 9, 1938. He was glorified by the Archdiocesan Jubilee Council of the Russian Orthodox Church in the year 2000.
