Saint Vladimir Flegontovich Vinogradov was destined to be born on October 24, 1874, in the family of a psalmist. After graduating from the Yaroslavl Theological Seminary in 1900, he became a psalmist in the church of the village of Staroandreyevskoye. In 1903, he was ordained a priest and appointed as a law teacher in the parish school. In 1910, he was transferred to the church of the village of Koza, where he also became a law teacher at the Kozsky primary school.
In 1918, after the uprising against the Bolsheviks in the Yaroslavl province, he was arrested and shot by the verdict of the Yaroslavl Cheka on December 22, 1919. He was glorified by the Archierarchical Jubilee Council of the Russian Orthodox Church in the year 2000.
