Saint Vladimir was born in 1876 in the village of Gezhaly, Lida district, Vilen province. In 1911, he graduated from the Slutsk Theological School and served as a psalmist in the church of Saint Nicholas in the village of Gorki. In 1930, Bishop Nikolai ordained him as a priest for the Nikolsk Church. Father Vladimir often visited the parish in the village of Yazyl, where he served in the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord.
In 1932, he delivered a sermon in which he emphasized the importance of faith and prayer. On December 27, 1932, he was arrested, and on February 12, 1933, he was sentenced to execution. Along with him, the psalmist, the starosta, and parishioners were also arrested. All of them were shot shortly after the sentence.
