Presbyter
Saint Vladimir Fokin, a holy martyr, served as a psalmist in the Ilyinskaya Church of Belyary in 1895, as a deacon in the village of Solgonskoye in 1908, and as a priest in the village of Novo-Yelovskoye of the Achinsk district in the Krasnoyarsk region in 1915. He was a zealous pastor and a kind, responsive person, which earned him great respect among his parishioners and all who knew him. On January 24, 1919, he was captured by the Red partisans of the Shchetinkin detachment and shot one and a half kilometers from the village of Lodachnaya. On his body, in addition to gunshot wounds, there were three stab wounds. Since these places were captured by the Bolsheviks, the body of the priest was secretly taken out of the village of Novo-Yelovskoye at night and transported to the city of Achinsk, which at that time was occupied by the troops of the White Army, where the funeral service for the martyred pastor was performed. Father Vladimir was buried near the Kazan Church in Achinsk. Almost the entire population of the city participated in his burial.
