Saint Victor, who was born on October 20, 1875, in the village of Ilyinskoye, was given a path of service to God. He graduated from the Zvenigorod Theological School and the Vifanskaya Theological Seminary, after which he became a teacher in a parish school. On November 7, 1902, he was ordained a priest. He served in the churches of the Kolomensky district, was elevated to the rank of protopresbyter, and was awarded a cross with decorations and a pallium.
In 1937, he was arrested on false charges of anti-Soviet activity. During the interrogation, he refused to admit his guilt. On December 1, 1937, he was sentenced to death and executed on December 8 at the Butovo firing range, buried in an unknown common grave.
