Saint Vasily, who was born in 1861, was given the path of serving God starting in 1887, when he was ordained as a deacon and began serving in the church of the Resurrection of the Sloboda in the Chelyabinsk district. In 1894, he was transferred to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral in Shadrinsk, and in 1897, he was ordained as a priest. His ministry continued in the Preobrazhensky church of the Verkhne-Ufaleisky factory and in the church of the village of Kungurskoye. In 1907, he was appointed to the Vkhodo-Ierusalimsky church of the Nizhne-Tagil factory, and in 1909, to the Nikolsky church of the village of Verkh-Klyuchevskoye. In 1915, he served in the Spaso-Preobrazhensky church of the village of Alexeyevskoye. Priest Vasily Militsyn was killed by godless Bolsheviks on June 25, 1918, in the city of Kamyshlov.
