Saint Martyr Priest Vasily Ivanovich Infantev was born in 1853. He was a priest of the church in the village of Mekhonskoye of the Shadrinsk district. On August 12 (25 in the new style) 1918, Father Vasily was killed in the village of Taushkan during mass repressions against the clergy in the Perm region. Saint Martyr Vasily Infantev was included in the Council of New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia by the decree of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on July 17, 2002.
