Archangel Barachiel
Archangel
Archangel Varahiil, whose name means "God's blessing," is the archangel of God's blessings. Through him, blessings are sent for every good earthly endeavor. This name is known only from church tradition and does not appear in the Holy Scriptures.
In the iconography of the 18th–19th centuries, the archangel is depicted holding a flower or with white roses on his garments, symbolizing the reward for the prayers and moral behavior of people, as well as foretelling bliss in the Kingdom of Heaven. In the icon of the Mother of God "Burning Bush," the archangel is sometimes depicted with a bunch of grapes.
