Martyrs Kyriake, Kaleria, and Mary of Caesarea, in Palestine
Martyrs
The five holy virgins Martha, Mary, Kyria, Valeria, and Marcia came from the city of Caesarea in Palestine. They came to know the Christian teachings, rejected the values of idolatry, got baptized, and settled in a small hut, praying to God for the end to all persecutions against Christians.
They were accused by the pagans and threatened, being pressured to deny Christ. Yet they remained unwavering in their faith.
Thus they were subjected to severe tortures, until they surrendered their souls to the Lord.
