Saint Timothy, ordained as a priest in 1913, served the liturgy on June 30, 1918. On that day, he read the words of the Lord: “Do not fear those who kill the body...”, perceiving them as guidance for the impending sufferings. A detachment of Red Guards arrived in the village of Zolotonoshki, and Timothy did not go to meet them, not allowing his wife to be humiliated before the executioners. An hour later, he was arrested by Garbuz and sentenced to hanging, but he requested to be shot instead. He was executed by firing squad, along with four men and one woman. The funeral was forbidden, and his body was buried by the hieromonk of the Alexeyevsky Monastery.
