Martyrs Timothy, Agapius, and Thekla, of Palestine
Martyrs
The glorious martyr Timothy was from the Palestinian city of Gaza. He was a teacher of the Christian faith and, having been captured, confessed his faith during interrogation, preaching about the love of Christ. For this, he was subjected to tortures, and remaining faithful, he was thrown into the fire, where he perished. At the same time, the saints Agapius and Thecla also underwent cruel tortures, but, preserving their faith, they were thrown to be torn apart by beasts, receiving heavenly crowns.
