St. Apostle Tertius, one of the 70, was a close disciple and collaborator of St. Apostle Paul. He labored in the evangelical field under the guidance of the Apostle, fulfilling his assignments. It is known that the Epistle of Apostle Paul to the Romans was written by Apostle Tertius, as Apostle Paul had an illegible handwriting and found it difficult to transcribe his letters. In the Epistle to the Romans, there is a testimony that Tertius wrote this letter: 'I, Tertius, who wrote this epistle, greet you in the Lord' (Rom. 16:22).
St. Apostle Tertius was the bishop in Iconium after St. Apostle Sosipater, where he was honored to receive the martyr's crown.
