120 Martyrs of Persia
Saints
The 120 holy martyrs suffered from the Persian king Shapur during the reign of the Greek emperor Constantius (337–361). For their steadfastness in confessing their faith, after severe tortures, they were burned († ca. 344–347). The righteous Snandulia (feast day November 3) preserved their relics from the desecration of pagans. Among the holy martyrs were nine virgins who dedicated themselves to the service of God.
