Nikolai (Tsikura), novice
Venerable Martyr
Saint Nicholas (Tsikura) was the economist of the archbishop's house under Archbishop Silvester (Ol'shevsky) of Omsk and Pavlodar. He accompanied the archbishop during his travels across Russia, sharing all the hardships of the post-revolutionary devastation. On February 4, 1918, a cross procession took place in Omsk, led by His Eminence Silvester. Nicholas Tsikura was killed on the night of February 6, when godless men came to arrest the archbishop.
