Priest Nikolai Rozov was born in 1879 in the Yaroslavl province in the family of a priest. He was ordained as a priest in 1902 and served in various churches in the Yaroslavl province, as well as being the head of the parish school. Since 1922, he served in the Holy Spirit Church in Yaroslavl and graduated from the Archaeological Institute. In 1930, he was arrested on charges of leading an illegal sisterhood and organizing financial collections for prisoners, sentenced to 3 years in corrective labor camps. He served his sentence in the state farm 'Giant', where after an illness he was transferred to work in the office. Released early, in 1933 he returned to Rybinsk to his brother, priest Vasily Rozov. Father Nikolai was ill with dystrophy and scurvy and no longer served. He passed away on October 8, 1941.
