Priest Nikolai Sushchevsky served in the church of the village of Georgievka in the Pishpek district of the Semirechensk region. In 1923, he was shot by the godless authorities near the city of Taldy-Kurgan. Saint Nikolai was glorified in the rank of saints at the Jubilee Archpastoral Council of the Russian Orthodox Church in 2000.
