Saint Nestor of Perge

Saint Nestor was taken in his house during prayer, in which he was forewarned about his suffering by a vision of a ram. He was presented in Pergia by the city chief Irinarch. On the way, Saint Nestor was strengthened by an earthquake and a voice from heaven. In Pergia, after terrible tortures, he completed his life on the cross during the persecution of Decius, in the year 250.
