The Prophet Moses came from the tribe of Levi and was the great lawgiver of the Israelites. He was born in Egypt around 1570 BC and was raised in the household of Pharaoh’s daughter. Every action and deed of his life was inspired by the Lord.
To the Prophet Moses, God revealed the mysteries of existence. He spoke to him about the creation of the world and the nature of humanity.
On Mount Sinai, he received the Ten Commandments. Through the power of the Lord, he performed great miracles. He died at the age of 120 in the land of Moab. He was buried in the valley near Beth-Peor, though the exact location of his burial remains unknown to this day.
His life is described in the books of the Old Testament.
