Our Holy Father Mina labored in one of the communal monasteries of Mount Sinai in the sixth year after the Birth of Christ. For fifty years he fulfilled various monastic obediences. On the third day after his blessed repose, all the brethren gathered in the church to perform the funeral service. During the divine service, the church suddenly filled with a fragrance emanating from the place where the deceased lay. When the coffin with his remains was opened, everyone saw that fragrant myrrh was flowing from both of his feet. The abbot, addressing the brethren, said that this was a testimony that the labors of the venerable one were accepted by God, and he urged them to fulfill their obediences with a pure conscience and diligence, in order to receive a reward from the Lord.
