Saint Mina, Bishop of Polotsk, served in the Kiev-Pechersk Monastery. On December 13, 1105, he was consecrated as Bishop of Polotsk. The name of Saint Mina has been included in the service of the Kiev-Pechersk holy fathers, as before his elevation to the episcopate, he served in this monastery. His mention is contained in the Kiev-Pechersk Patericon. He is known as one of the first Russian archpastors who continued the blessed spread of the Christian faith after the Baptism of our land.
