Presbyter
Mikhail Viktorovich Zelentsovsky was born in 1878 in the Yaroslavl province. He received his education in a church parish school. From 1901, he served in the Church, starting as a psalmist. On October 17, 1909, he was ordained to the deaconate. He served in the Church of St. Basil the Great, and then in the Resurrection Cemetery Church until 1921. His voice and zealous attitude towards the divine service attracted the attention of Archbishop Seraphim of Uglich, with whom he served for seven years. In 1930, the parishioners of the Church of St. Nicholas-on-the-Peski approached him with a request to accept the priestly rank. In June 1930, he was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Sergey of Narva. On February 22, 1931, he was arrested, and from 1931 to 1937, he spent time in the Vongal camp, where he continued to fulfill his priestly duties. In 1937, he was accused of counter-revolutionary activities and was shot on December 9.
