Priest Mikhail Lektorsky was born on November 9, 1872, in the family of a Kuban priest. He successfully graduated from the Stavropol Theological Seminary in 1892. He was ordained as a priest and appointed to the village of Blagodatnoye, where he served as the head of a one-class church school. Later, he was transferred to the Voronezh stanitsa, where he served as the head of a two-class male and a one-class female ministerial school. From May 13, 1906, he was the rector of the Andreevskaya Church in the Novotitorovskaya stanitsa and a chaplain of the district clergy.
Father Mikhail was a wonderful family man, having four children. For his pastoral diligence, he was awarded several honors: a nabedrennik in 1900, a skufia in 1905, and in 1910 he received a kamilavka.
On the night of September 25 to 26, 1921, he was arrested on charges of counter-revolutionary agitation. In the special department of the 9th Bolshevik army, the prisoners lived in inhumane conditions. The verdict of the troika was brief - execution by firing squad.
During the execution, Fr. Mikhail confessed to the hostages and granted them absolution. On October 27, 1921, at 10 PM, all the hostages were shot, and among the bodies was the body of Fr. Mikhail.
