The Holy Apostle Mark, called John, was appointed by the Apostles as bishop in Babylon and zealously labored in the preaching of the Gospel, healing the sick with his shadow.
The Holy Aristarch, mentioned by the Apostle Paul, was the bishop of Apamea in Syria.
The Holy Zenas, a lawyer before his apostleship, later became the bishop in Diospolis.
