The Holy Martyrs Manuel and Theodosius
Martyrs
The holy martyrs Manuel and Theodosius, originally from the eastern lands, resolved to die for Christ upon witnessing how the pagans condemned Christians to death. They boldly confessed their faith before the governor, which astonished those around them. After being imprisoned, the governor tried to persuade them to renounce Christ, but they steadfastly rejected his offers. The tortures they endured included stoning, torture on tridents, and ultimately beheading. The holy martyrs surrendered their souls into the hands of the Lord, leaving an example of fidelity and courage in faith.
