Saint Constantine was born on May 3, 1875, in the village of Lyubertsy, Moscow province. In 1896, he graduated from the Moscow Theological Seminary and was ordained a priest. He served in the Transfiguration Church until 1936, and then in the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Smolino. In October 1937, he was arrested on the basis of a denunciation that he was agitating for the Church and calling for faith in Christ. On September 20, he informed the parishioners about the impossibility of serving molebens in the church without permission. On November 17, 1937, he was arrested and held in the Mozhaisk and then Taganka prisons. On November 25, the NKVD troika sentenced him to ten years of imprisonment in a labor camp. On January 9, 1938, he arrived at the Suslovskoye section of the Siblag, where he passed away on March 25, 1938, from hunger and hard labor, being buried in an unmarked grave.
