Constantine Popov, presbyter

Saint Martyr Konstantin Ivanovich Popov served in the church of the village of Lyagushinskoye in the Verkhoturye district of the Perm province. On August 13, 1918, he was shot by Bolsheviks who had seized power in the village of Yegorshino. By the decision of the Archdiocesan Council of the Russian Orthodox Church in the year 2000 and the determination of the Holy Synod on July 17, 2002, Saint Martyr Konstantin Popov was canonized among the ranks of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia.
