Saint Konstantinos Lebentev was born in 1884. He studied at the Theological School of Perm and was ordained a deacon in 1909. In 1912, he became a priest. He served at the Church of Prokor–Elijah in Ust-Utkinska, in the Verkhoturye district, and later at the Spasskaya Church in the village of Uetskoye, in the Kamyshlov region.
During the period of revolution, he remained in his parish, resisting all threats. On July 8/21, 1918, after celebrating the Divine Liturgy, he was arrested by soldiers of the Red Army and got imprisoned. On the night of July 9/22, he was subjected to brutal torture, which led to his death. His body was covered with straw and manure.
His canonization was decided by the the Holy Synod on July 17, 2002, when Saint Konstantinos was included among the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia.
