Kindeus of Sid (Pamphylia), presbyter
Hieromartyr
Presbyter
Presbyter
Saint Kindeus was born in the Pamphylian Sid and lived during the reign of Diocletian. He was arrested by order of the prefect Stratonikos and sentenced to death.
It was decided that he would be thrown into flames. On the way to the place of his martyrdom, although his body was bound with iron garments studded with nails, he himself lifted and carried the wood for the fire to the site of his execution. The saint remained unharmed amid the flames, confessing his faith and calling the people to acknowledge the power of the true God.
While praying to the Lord, he surrendered his soul, entering eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
