During the reign of the Roman Emperor Claudius, Saint Deacon Caesarius came to the city of Tarraquinia and destroyed the idols, for which he was imprisoned. After three days of imprisonment, he was taken to the temple of Apollo, where he prayed, and the temple collapsed, killing the priests. Hypaticus Leontius believed in Christ and was baptized by Saint Julian, after which he breathed his last. The governor Loxorius ordered the saints to be sewn into bags and thrown into the sea. The saints predicted his death by a snake, which soon occurred.
The bodies of the saints were brought to the shore, and the Christians buried them with honor. However, the son of Leontius severed their heads and threw them into the river. Presbyter Quart, guided by the Angel of God, gathered the relics of the saints and placed them in a special place for the glory of God.
