John of Bithynia

Saint Anna, the daughter of a deacon of the Vlahernae Church in Constantinople, after the death of her husband, took on a male appearance and, under the name Euphimian, along with her son, Saint John, labored in one of the monasteries of Bithynia, near Olympus. The saint reposed in Constantinople in the year 826.
