Holy Martyr Nicholas was born on November 11, 1874, in the village of Sekretarka, Samara province. He graduated from the Samara Theological Seminary in 1897 and was ordained a priest in 1900. He served in various parishes and became the rector of the Nicholas Church in the village of Ordynskoye in 1924. In 1937, he was arrested and imprisoned in Novosibirsk. He did not admit guilt in counter-revolutionary activities. On October 1, 1937, the NKVD Troika sentenced him to death, which was carried out on October 26, 1937. He was buried in a common grave.
Priest Innocent was born on February 12, 1878, in the village of Ushkovskoye-Chumakovo, Tomsk province. He graduated from the Tomsk Theological Seminary in 1899 and was ordained a priest in 1910. He served in the Nicholas Church of the village of Nizhne-Kamensky until his arrest in 1937. He also did not admit guilt in counter-revolutionary activities. On October 1, 1937, he was sentenced to death and executed on October 26, 1937, in Novosibirsk. He was buried in a common grave.
The memory of the holy martyrs Nicholas and Innocent is celebrated on October 13 (26), as well as on January 25 (February 7) and June 10 (23).
