Archimandrite
In the general service of the Kyiv-Pechersk saints, it is said of him: "Ignatius, shepherd of those in monastic life and healer of the sick, having assisted us in our ailments, we bring forth a hymn of praise to God in your memory." He is buried in the Far (Theodosiev) caves. His memory is celebrated together with the venerable ones of these caves on August 28. On December 20, the memory of the venerable Ignatius is commemorated, likely due to his name being similar to that of the Holy Martyr Ignatius the God-bearer. Another commemoration is with the Synaxis of all the Kyiv-Pechersk Fathers on the 2nd Sunday of Great Lent.
