Saint Jacob of Bryleevo was a disciple of Saint Jacob of Zheleznovorsk and a laborer in his monastery. He founded the Bryleevo Desert in honor of the Entry of the Theotokos into the Temple, located 5 versts from the Precursor Zheleznovorsk Monastery towards the city of Bui. Saint Jacob passed away in the 15th century and was buried in the Church of the Entry.
