Martyrs Macrobius and Gordian at Tomi in Romania and those with them
Martyrs
The holy martyrs suffered under Licinius. Gordian was from Cappadocia, and Macrobius from Paphlagonia; both were young men and for their firm faith in Christ suffered in the city of Tomah. By the command of the prince Maximus, after many tortures, they were beheaded. Saint Valerian wept bitterly at the tomb of the martyrs and, lamenting, passed away.
