The holy martyrs Gaius and Faustus were disciples of Saint Dionysius of Alexandria. They met their martyrdom together with their teacher. Eusebius and Cherimon, after the exile of Saint Dionysius, visited those imprisoned in dungeons, buried the bodies of the martyrs, and lived until the reign of Emperor Decius. For confessing the faith of Christ, they suffered cruel tortures but remained steadfast. They taught many pagans the faith of Christ and baptized them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Then they were captured, beheaded, and surrendered their blessed souls to the Lord.
