Theodore, Mianus, Julian and Kion

The Holy Martyrs Theodore, Mianos, Julian, and Kion lived during the reign of the Emperor Galerius. They originated from the village of Kantavli. They were arrested and subjected to terrible tortures for confessing their faith in Christ. After their bodies had been weakened by the beatings, they were shut inside a scalding bathhouse whose doors were sealed. However, their prayers were heard, and God sent His holy angel to preserve them alive.

In the end, the emperor’s soldiers led them outside the city, where, after offering their final prayers, the saints surrendered their souls to the Lord, having endured severe sufferings and brutal torments.
