Feodor Mikhailovich Ivanov was born in 1895 in Tobolsk. After the death of his father in 1911, his mother, Elizaveta, worked in an archive to support the family. From childhood, Feodor served in the cathedral, where he fell ill with joint rheumatism and became disabled. In 1916, during the canonization of Saint John of Tobolsk, he was healed when he was brought to the relics of the saint. Since then, many came to him, and he became known as a great comforter. In 1937, during the repressions, Feodor was arrested by the NKVD for his faith and help to people. He was sentenced to death and executed in the Tobolsk prison, where he was buried. After his martyr's death, many continue to turn to him for help and healing, especially those who suffer from leg pain.
