Martyr
Evsevy Andreyevich Tryakhov was born in 1870 in the village of Zabelino, Kasimov District, Ryazan Province. He was first arrested in 1931 and sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment. At the time of his second arrest, on September 21, 1937, he was living with his 62-year-old wife and engaged in artisanal work. During the investigation, he did not admit guilt, but on December 6, 1937, the troika of the U.N.K.V.D. of the USSR for the Ryazan region issued a charge: “active participant in the counter-revolutionary insurgent-terrorist organization, conducted subversive propaganda among the population and expressed terrorist sentiments,” sentencing him to execution.
