Martyr Eupsychius of Caesarea, in Cappadocia
Martyr
Saint martyr Eupsychius was born and raised in Caesarea of Cappadocia. During the reign of Emperor Hadrian, he was denounced for his veneration of Christ. He was captured, subjected to cruel tortures, and thrown into prison, where, praying, he received healing from an angel. After his release, he distributed all his possessions to the poor, including to those who had slandered him. Later, under the prince Sapricius, the saint was captured again, hanged, and tortured, ultimately meeting a martyr's end by beheading. From his wounds, instead of blood, milk and water flowed.
