The Holy Apostles Euodus and Onesiphorus of the 70
Apostles
Saint Eud, one of the seventy Apostles, was the first bishop of Antioch and a great preacher of the Word of God. He wrote about the Most Holy Virgin, stating that she gave birth to the Savior at the age of fifteen. Saint Eud left many useful writings, which perished during the persecutions of the Church. He suffered for Christ and died a martyr's death in 66 AD during the reign of Emperor Vespasian.
Saint Onesiphorus also belonged to the seventy Apostles. The Apostle Paul mentions his help and support in his letter to Timothy. Onesiphorus suffered for his faith, accepting a martyr's death, and was torn apart by wild horses. He, along with Eud, was received into the assembly of God's confessors.
