Saint Martyr Evlogius was born in Palestine. His parents were unbelievers. After their death, the saint distributed his inheritance to the poor and, having become impoverished for the sake of Christ, began to wander through Palestine, converting the unbelievers to Christ. He was slandered before the governor and endured many tortures for refusing to offer sacrifices to idols, and ultimately, he was beheaded.
