Saint Eudokia was born on August 17, 1884, in the city of Voskresensk, Moscow Province. In 1909, she entered the Marfo-Marinsky Convent, where she served as a sister of mercy. After the closure of the convent, she returned to her homeland but was stripped of her civil rights. In 1934, she submitted an application for the restoration of her rights but was denied.
During the persecutions against the Russian Orthodox Church in the late 1930s, neighbors signed false testimonies against her. On January 19, 1938, Eudokia was arrested and imprisoned in Butyrka prison in Moscow.
During the interrogations, she stated that she was a devout churchgoer but did not engage in counter-revolutionary activities. The interrogations lasted two days, accompanied by threats, but she consistently refused to admit her guilt.
On January 26, 1938, the NKVD troika sentenced her to execution. Saint Eudokia was shot on February 5, 1938, and buried in an anonymous mass grave at the Butovo firing range near Moscow.
